CTR Group in Pascagoula, MS is seeking an experienced First-Class Shipfitter (Journeyman/Boilermaker) for full-time work at a shipyard. Travelers welcome; recently separated or retired Navy Hull Technicians encouraged to apply. Position involves fabrication, assembly and erection of steel components with safety at the core.

Shifts may vary; per diem of $180 for non-local candidates plus comprehensive benefits. Must be able to read blueprints and work from metric and standard measurements.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 4 Yrs. trade experience.
• Basic math, reading and comprehension skills.
• Read and interpret blueprints utilizing both metric and standard measurements.
• Knowledge of the layout, fit-up and fabrication of steel plate and beam.
• Experience with various trade specific tools such as grinders, torches, jacks, chain falls, squares, levels.

• Fabricate, assemble and erect metal components for marine vessels.
• Work may involve heights, confined spaces, and shift work depending on ships under construction.
• Follow safety procedures meeting or exceeding industry standards.
• Operate tools and equipment as part of shipyard production processes.
