Genesis Industrial Staffing seeks a First-Class Shipfitter (Journeyman Shipfitter/Boilermaker) in Pascagoula, MS. The role involves fabrication, assembly and erection of metal components for marine vessels, with day and night shifts as ships are built. A sign-on bonus up to $500 and PTO are offered.

Per diem may apply for distant candidates with eligible utilities. Minimum 3–5 years in trade experience, ability to read blueprints, and basic math/comprehension skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of trade experience.
• Basic math, reading and comprehension skills.
• Read and interpret blueprints using metric and standard measurements.
• Knowledge of layout, fit-up and fabrication of steel plate and beam.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble and erect metal components for marine vessels.
• Work in production areas with varying heights, confined spaces and multiple shifts.
