Peterbilt of Alaska, Anchorage, is seeking a Journeyman Service Technician (PBA) to diagnose root causes of equipment failures and perform journeyman work across engines, powertrains, electrical and hydraulic systems. The role follows a 4/10 schedule and reports to the Service Manager.
You will inspect, repair, and replace components, produce detailed service reports, and travel to field equipment in town and remote areas while upholding safety and quality standards.

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, our full-time Journeyman Technician position is responsible for analyzing the root causes of equipment failures and proposing corrective actions. Also perform journeyman duties, regular inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions, repairs and replacements. This position will adhere to a 4/10 work schedule. Here in Anchorage, we have a heated and air-conditioned warehouse! It is a nice size with a great floorplan. Our building is easily located right off 4th street behind Wendy's.

High school diploma or GED (preferred).
Mechanical knowledge
Journeyman level technician skills.
High level of technical trouble shooting ability with experience in aftertreatment, engine, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
5+ years of experience with over the road heavy duty diesel trucks.
Able to work 40+ hrs per week.
Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Team members must be able to lift at least 30 pounds on a regular basis and be able to stand for long periods of time. Bending, lifting, and pushing will also be required.
