LEAD - Journeyman Service Plumber Foreman

Position: Seeking a person with Trade Knowledge and Leadership Skills to work alongside and oversee Journeyman Service Plumbers with a growing Service Plumbing Company in South Fayette Township and surrounding communities. Note: Below are the details of the Journeyman Service Plumbers that the Foreman will oversee and coach.

Position Title: Journeyman Service Plumber

Position Expectations

1. The Service Plumber should have:

a. Plumbing Aptitude – Experience in all aspects of Allegheny County plumbing code. Capable of working independently with high workmanship standards.

b. Technology Competence – Use of iPads/iPhones and Service Titan Software for all job duties.

c. Sales Experience – Ability to present plumbing recommendations, offer financing, and collect payments on-site.

d. Weekend Availability – On call schedules as needed.

e. Daily responsibilities include reviewing work priorities, preparing for service calls, performing plumbing repairs, presenting options, and collecting payments.

Pre-Employment Requirements

1. Pass DOT-approved drug and alcohol testing.
2. Provide proof of a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
3. Provide three personal references and current employer contacts.

Salary Range / Benefits

1. Estimated $35.00 to $45.00/hour, with annual reviews and raises.
2. Company Benefits include health insurance (75% paid by employer), 401(k) with 3.5% match, uniforms, PTO, company vehicle, and commission for sales.

Daily Duties

1. Typical shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with some flexibility.
2. Report to the shop, prepare vehicle, and coordinate daily work.
3. Perform service calls, including customer communication, diagnosis, presenting options, and completing repairs.
4. End of day tasks include organizing the vehicle, fueling, and reviewing work with supervisor.

Employer Responsibilities

1. Provide training on dispatching and scheduling platforms.
2. Schedule work hours and conduct performance reviews.

Experience Required (not limited to):

• Sanitary sewer clearing, video inspection, high-pressure jetting
• Service and installation of plumbing fixtures, water heaters, water lines, toilets, garbage disposals, dishwashers, gas lines, sinks, water systems, leak detection, backflow devices, etc.
