Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• Must pass drug screen and background check as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble, maintain, and dismantle tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.
• Determine type of scaffold needed.
• Inspect job site and all scaffold material for defects and safety hazards.
• Communicate safety hazards and mitigate avoidable hazards prior to construction of scaffolding.
• Transport tubular scaffold or other structural material and erect the scaffold to dimensions required.
• Hoist scaffolding materials upward to erect temporary structure.
• Secure and level locking sections of scaffolding material.
• Secure scaffold to the permanent structure for added stability.
• Adhere to all OSHA, site-specific and Austin Industrial requirements for scaffolding.
• Perform final inspection of completed scaffolding and dismantle when instructed.
• Inspect and properly stow scaffolding material after dismantling.
• Wear PPE as required and perform duties safely.
• Possess the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
