Brown & Root Industrial Services in Texas is seeking a Journeyman NCCER Scaffold Builder to provide leadership, instructions, and guidance to craft workers on the job site. The role involves building, positioning, and dismantling scaffolds according to sketches and company standards.

The candidate will examine materials, read blueprints, load and transport supplies, and assemble scaffolding with handrails and planks while following safety rules and project requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with scaffolding and construction safety.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Examines, selects and gathers materials and tools.
• Examines blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions of structure.
• Inspect base surface for obstructions.
• Loads, transports and unloads material.
• Assembles scaffold with handrails, braces and planks per specifications.
• Sets and braces anchor bolts for concrete piers and walls.
• Erects scaffolding and installs ladders, walkways, and platforms.
• Performs maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Complies with all safety and project rules.
