Job summary

CoolSys in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Install Technician to join our HVAC team. You will install refrigeration systems per customer specs, follow building codes, and assist foremen with piping, electrical work, and coil installations across diverse supermarket projects.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in construction with hands-on refrigeration and electrical experience, EPA Type II, and strong blueprint reading skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; trade or technical school training.
5+ years in construction; hands-on refrigeration, electrical, or fixtures construction.
EPA Type II certification.
Experience in copper brazing and market remodeling.
Valid driving record.

Responsibilities

Install refrigeration systems per customer specs and codes.
Piping cooler boxes and cases, including wiring as needed.
Install pipe hangers per foreman's directions.
Weld copper pipes and assist foreman on site.
Hang evaporation coils and install/remodel supermarket refrigeration systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
