Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a Journeyman 1-Refrigeration to install refrigeration systems per customer specs and applicable codes. You will pipe cooler boxes and cases, install hangers, and assist foremen with welding and remodeling supermarket refrigeration systems.

Strong field experience in commercial refrigeration and electrical work is required. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and EPA Type II certification, with 5+ years in construction and strong blueprints and safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, equivalent work experience and trade or technical school classes.
• EPA Certification (Type II).

Responsibilities

• Installs refrigeration systems per customer specs and code requirements.
• Pipes cooler boxes and refrigeration cases, wiring as required to complete the project.
• Installs pipe hangers as directed by foreman.
