Job summary

The University of Richmond is seeking a skilled plumber to maintain and repair all campus plumbing systems, including domestic water, site utilities and fire mains, sanitary fixtures, and storm drains.

You will install or modify systems for small renovation projects, work safely in crawl spaces and construction zones, and be on call for emergency service after hours on a rotating basis with other trades.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License and driving record of at least 3 years.
• Technical training certificate in Plumbing.
• Journeyman's Certificate.
• 5 years' progressive experience in plumbing construction and/or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair domestic water, site utilities, fire main, and sanitary systems.
• Install or modify systems for small renovation projects and improvements.
• Work safely in crawl spaces, occupied spaces, excavations and construction areas.
• Be on call for emergency service on a rotating basis with other trades.
