Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma, some college level coursework and graduation from an accredited apprenticeship plumbing and pipefitting program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Also requires at least one year of customer service experience.
• Required Licensure: Journey Plumber License DPOR VA, and a valid driver's license.
• Journeyman Gas Fitter License Va., Backflow Prevention Tester License (City), and 2 PSI Natural Gas Certificate not required but welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and participates in the work of a small group of employees engaged in determining defects, repairing, installing and maintaining piping and drainage systems for water, sewer, steam or natural gas.
• Troubleshooting, testing, repairing, maintaining, and modifying commercial plumbing, pipefitting and steam-fitting systems and equipment.
• Ensures safety of the work area.
• Replaces cooling and dual temperature pumps.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
