Qualifications

• Graduation from high school with apprenticeship program (union/private/in-house/military) including theory and on-the-job work.
• Minimum of two years as a journey-level plumber/fitter in commercial/industrial settings.
• Valid MA Plumbers License and MA driver’s license; able to comply with safety training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, test plumbing systems; install/repair pumps, pipes, fittings and fixtures; inspect work for codes and specs.
• Estimate cost, time and materials; supervise other staff on plumbing projects; inventory parts and supplies.
• Respond to routine and emergency calls; monitor outside contractors; perform heavy physical tasks; ensure safety standards.
