Abilene ISD is seeking a Journeyman Plumber to assist the lead plumber and supervise the apprentice across AISD facilities. You will install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in schools, read plans, and ensure all work meets code and safety standards.

You must have a Texas plumber license, a valid driver’s license, and 4–6 years of master-plumber experience, with familiarity in commercial plumbing, irrigation, and gas distribution as needed. Expect some overtime for emergencies.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Texas Driver's License.
• Plumbers License issued by the State of Texas.
• 4–6 years experience under a master plumber.
• 4–6 years experience in commercial plumbing.
• Knowledge of codes and standards for plumbing systems.

Responsabilidades

• Be a self-starter and require little supervision.
• Assist lead plumber and supervise apprentice.
• Inspect buildings, facilities and equipment for required repairs and report findings.
• Read blueprints/specs to determine job requirements and procedures.
• Prepare materials and time estimates; plan cost-effective work.
