We are currently seeking a highly skilled, dedicated, and enthusiastic Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time role that offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale, multi-phase construction projects. Our ideal candidate is a safety-conscious professional who can efficiently and effectively handle a variety of plumbing tasks, from installing piping systems to detecting leaks.

Responsibilities

1. Following state and local plumbing regulations to ensure all work is up to code.
2. Utilizing pressure gauges and other tools for leak detection and to monitor the functionality of plumbing systems.
3. Employing various materials and tools such as couplings, cement, plastic solvents, clamps, welding equipment, and brazing to repair and install plumbing systems.
4. Hanging steel supports from joists to hold pipes in place during installation or repair.
5. Installing storm, sanitary, gas, vent, and water piping systems and connecting fixtures and plumbing to these systems.
6. Ensuring safety is a priority on every job site by adhering to OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 guidelines.
7. Operating hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications

1. A valid Journeyman license with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial / industrial plumbing field.
2. Knowledge of state and local plumbing regulations.
3. Proficiency in using pressure gauges and leak detection tools.
4. Experience with couplings, cement, plastic solvents, clamps, welding equipment, and brazing.
