Job summary

CVR Energy, Inc. is seeking a skilled pipefitter to assemble and install pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling and other industrial systems.

The role requires reading blueprints, planning layouts, and working with various pipe types and fittings. Responsibilities include cutting, threading, bending, and assembling pipes, and working in confined spaces or with protective PPE such as HF acid suits and supplied air masks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NCCER certification preferred; training provided by CVR.
• Fluent in English, oral and written required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Plan and sketch piping systems.
• Lay out, assemble, install and repair pipe systems and related equipment per specifications.
• Cut, thread, bend and fit pipes of various materials.
• Work in confined spaces and at high elevations.
• Operate with safety protocols and proper PPE.
