Job summary

Richard Construction Inc. seeks experienced Industrial Journeyman Pipe Fitters to assemble, lay out, install, and maintain piping systems on steam, fluid, or gas systems. Work may occur indoors, outdoors, or underground with heights up to 300 feet.

Multiple levels exist from Leadman to various Pipefitter grades, requiring NCCER certification and 4+ years of industrial piping experience. Safety, reliability, and teamwork are essential on site.

Qualifications

• Industrial construction/maintenance experience required.
• Ability to read prints and drawings.
• Knowledge of pipe fitting processes for industrial piping.
• 4+ years of pipe fitting experience.
• Good math and problem-solving abilities.
• Team player with good communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Read engineered drawings and determine scope of work and materials.
• Identify tools required for tasks.
• Identify safety risks and precautions.
• Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specifications.
• Install valves, hangers, and flanges as per plans.
• Perform tests to ensure pipe system quality.
• Hoist loads using rigging equipment.
