Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Journeyman Industrial Pipefitter to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related equipment at client sites. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of pipefitting experience and must pass pre-employment screening.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lb and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Per diem is offered at $85 for days worked, with a 4/10 or 5/8 schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be a Journeyman Industrial Pipefitter with a minimum of 3 years of Pipefitting experience.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check as conditions of employment.
• Employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and supports.
• Operate valves to isolate sections and replace worn components.
• Inspect work sites for obstructions and structural safety.
• Plan pipe system layout per specs and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Utilize PPE and follow site regulations to maintain safety and productivity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
