Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Pipefitter in the United States to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems for industrial production.

Responsibilities include cutting, threading, attaching pipes, planning layouts, installing controls, and turning valves. Applicants must have 3-5 years journeyman level experience, NCCER, TWIC and DL credentials, and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Certifications: NCCER, TWIC and DL.
• Experience: 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
• Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
• Install automatic controls used to regulate pipe systems.
• Turn valves to shut off steam, water, or other gases or liquids from pipe sections.
