Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using saws, torches, pipe threaders and benders.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures with brackets, clamps or welding equipment.
• Plan pipe system layout, installation or repair according to specifications.
• Install automatic controls used to regulate pipe systems.
• Inspect work sites for obstructions and safety risks.
• Operate motorized pumps to remove water from flooded areas.
• Modify, clean and maintain pipe systems and fittings as needed.
