Job summary

MasTec seeks an experienced Pipefitter to layout, fabricate, assemble, install and maintain piping systems for industrial processing facilities. The role requires reading specs, selecting materials, and coordinating with crews. Travel to multiple job sites is expected.

You will work up to 50 hours weekly in various environments, with strong emphasis on safety and quality. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, NCCER/NCCCO certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience or training
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• NCCER/NCCCO certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with safety policies
• Select pipe type and size per job specs
• Plan installation sequencing to avoid obstructions
• Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipe and fittings
• Test piping systems for leaks
• Travel to different job sites as needed
• Other duties as assigned by Foreman or Superintendent
