Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking a skilled Pipefitter Journeyman to join our Boise, Idaho team. The role involves laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing and maintaining piping systems for steam, hot water, heating, cooling and industrial processing systems.

Expect full-time hours, up to 50 hours weekly, with a competitive hourly rate and a $3/hour completion bonus eligibility for pipe crews. Qualifications include 4+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and NCCER/NCCCO

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or GED Certification (preferred)
• Applicable Pipefitter training and certificate from NCCER, NCCCO, or from approved 3rd party certification body (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures.
• Select type and size of pipe and related materials according to job specifications.
• Inspect worksite to identify obstructions and ensure holes won't cause structural issues.
• Plan installation sequence to avoid obstructions and coordination conflicts.
• Cut pipe using hacksaw, pipe cutters, or cutting torch.
• Thread pipe using threading machine and assemble/install pipe fittings.
