Job summary

MasTec's Clean Energy and Infrastructure Group is seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter for Mountain Home, Idaho. You will lay out, fabricate, install and maintain piping systems for industrial processing and HVAC applications, ensuring safety and quality on the jobsite.

Roles include working up to 12 hours shifts, traveling to project sites, and collaborating with the team to meet schedule and budget targets while following all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience and/or training
• High school diploma or GED Certification (preferred)
• NCCER, NCCCO, or approved 3rd party certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with safety policies and procedures
• Select type and size of pipe according to job specs
• Inspect worksite for obstructions and structural safety
• Plan installation sequence to avoid obstructions
• Cut, thread, bend and assemble pipe with appropriate tools
• Join pipe with threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed or cemented joints
• Install and maintain piping and associated systems
• Travel to different jobsites as needed
• Support Foreman or Superintendent with duties
