Job summary

Graywolf Integrated Construction Company is seeking Pipefitters for an outage project at Perdue Hill, AL. This 10‑day assignment runs from 9/13/26 to 9/22/26 and involves butt weld, threaded, and socket weld piping, including valves, hangers, and supports.

A Journeyman Pipefitter must have at least four years of heavy industrial field experience, strong blueprint reading, and the ability to perform construction math, offsets, and rigging.

Qualifications

• Four years minimum heavy industrial field experience as a Pipefitter.
• Able to correctly execute material take offs, figure offsets, take off to fittings and rigging.
• Must have locking tool box and tools necessary to perform the job.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pipefitting Safety – work safely around hazards of the Pipefitting field.
• Pipefitting Tools – use hand, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools safely.
• Construction Math - competency in fractions, decimals, geometry, trigonometry.
• Drawing and Detail Sheets – identify parts and interpret drawings and lists.
• Advanced Blueprint Reading – interpret GPS coords, elevations, P&ID plans, isometrics.
• Identifying and Installing Valves – identify valves and actuators and handle storage.
• Pipe Hangers and Supports – identify hangers, interpret drawings, place supports.
• Threaded Pipe Fabrication – identify materials, read joint drawings, calculate offsets.
• Socket Weld/Butt Weld Pipe Fabrication - identify fittings and read pipe drawings.
• Rigging Equipment – identify and use rigging procedures and equipment.
