Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities' construction division is seeking a skilled Painter/Journeyman to perform surface preparation and finish work on interior and exterior surfaces at one of our properties. You will select materials and use various techniques to ensure a high-quality finish.

Responsibilities include removing old finishes, applying primer and coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer, plus helping order materials, estimate quantities, coordinate schedules, and maintain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of painting experience.
• Construction or maintenance related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex surface preparation and apply coatings.
• Select appropriate paint materials and use various application techniques to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Remove old finishes, prep surfaces, and apply primer/paint/varnish/stain/enamel/ lacquer on interior and exterior surfaces.
