TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a skilled Millwright to plan, lay out, install and align machinery on a construction/industrial site in Mississippi. You will interpret plans, prepare foundations and use precision tools to ensure exact placement of equipment.

Responsibilities include testing and adjusting installed machinery, rigging with cranes, and maintaining strict safety standards on a dynamic worksite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong planning and layout skills for millwright work.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs and drawings.
• Commitment to safety and efficient tool use.

Responsibilities

• Plan, diagram and lay-out for millwright work.
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble and align machinery.
• Review inventory and prepare foundations; set elevations and align components.
• Torque, rig and test equipment; adjust as needed after installation.
• Dismantle and move machinery with hoists, dollies, and cranes as required.
• Assemble and anchor equipment to foundations per project specs.
• Estimate sizes, distances, and quantities for tasks and materials.
• Inspect workmanship for compliance with contract plans and specs.
