Job summary

TIC_Craft is seeking a skilled millwright to plan, lay-out, install and align equipment in accordance with project plans and industry standards. You will interpret diagrams, use power and hand tools, and verify foundations and elevations for precise placement.

The role requires physical work outdoors, climbing and working in confined spaces, with overtime, nights and weekends as workload dictates. Safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related field experience.
• Ability to understand, follow and communicate written and oral instructions.
• Proficient in safe use of electrical, hand and power tools and layout/measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, diagram and lay-out millwright work per plans and specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble and align machinery.
• Inspect and verify equipment, foundations and elevations; prepare for installation.
• Torque, rig and position equipment; test installed machinery and adjust as needed.
• Dismantle and move machinery with hoists, dollies and other equipment.
• Assemble and install equipment; align using hoists, jacks and tools; anchor to foundations.
• Estimate sizes, distances and quantities; assess time, costs and resources.
• Inspect subordinates’ work for compliance with plans and specs.
