4C2 Industrial in Dallas is seeking a Journeyman Millwright to install and maintain machinery using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools.

You will read blueprints, dismantle and assemble equipment, and construct machine foundations while ensuring safety in outdoor, elevated, and confined-space environments. A high school diploma and 3 years millwright experience are preferred, along with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints, schematics and repair drawings to determine procedures.
• Dismantles machines using hand and power tools.
• Assembles and installs equipment such as conveyors and tram rails.
• Constructs foundations for machines using wood, cement and steel.
• Aligns machines using hoists, jacks and measuring tools.
• Grinds and files machinery parts on-site or in controlled settings.
• May repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
• Overtime and non-standard schedules may be required.
• Safety procedures for heights and confined spaces must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics and drawings; determines work procedures.
• Dismantles machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and hand tools.
• Assembles and installs equipment such as shafting and conveyors with hand/power tools.
• Constructs machine foundations using wood, cement and steel.
• Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks and measuring instruments.
• Grinds and files machinery parts on-site or in controlled settings.
• Operates heavy equipment safely and according to procedures.
• Works around hazardous materials and at heights in confined spaces.
