Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Journeyman Millwright to perform skilled mechanical and electromechanical maintenance in a fast-paced metals production facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment, read blueprints, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a state-recognized Journeyman Millwright certification, 3+ years in heavy industrial settings, and strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed Journeyman Millwright with state certification.
• 3+ years of experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to diagnose 3-phase motors, conveyors, and drive systems.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Ability to work multiple shifts as needed; shift preference considered.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment including motors, conveyors, drives, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machinery to minimize downtime and ensure consistent production.
• Install, align, and maintain mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and material-handling equipment.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance activities, documentation, and inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety/quality procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams to support continuous improvement and equipment optimization.
• Participate in training programs focused on problem-solving, quality processes, and equipment upgrades.
