Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with electricity/math minor.
• Completion of approved meterman apprenticeship and Journeyman Meterman certification.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license; CPR, first aid, flagging, forklift certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, calibrate, and maintain meters and AMR endpoints.
• Program and troubleshoot meters, transformers, and related equipment.
• Conduct load and voltage surveys and review metering data.
• Investigate customer needs, estimate loads, and prepare installation sketches.
• Ensure safety and compliance with WAC 296-45 and metering standards.
• Maintain meter inventory and assist with system security reviews.
• Address metering complaints and advise on corrective actions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
