Qualifications

• Journeyman meterman card required.
• Valid driving medical card.
• Driver's license required.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA.
• Physically and mentally able to perform the job.
• Ability to get along with customers and the public.

Responsibilities

• Work safely.
• Install, test, repair and maintain meters of all types, sizes and voltages.
• Operate meter shop equipment and refurbish meters; program and interface with meters and databases.
• Maintain the meter stock.
• Wire and install metering jobs; test and repair power and demand meters.
• Perform distribution testing; discuss results with customers.
• Meet with customers and public; discuss meter accuracy and energy usage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
