Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a dependable team member to assist in the daily cutting of fresh beef and pork, following the production schedule to meet advertised cuts.

You will help write orders, organize deliveries, and maintain positive relationships with customers and coworkers. Qualifications include familiarity with weights and measures in meat processing, adherence to safety and sanitation procedures, experience with presentation and packaging, use of ordering software, and a valid handjack/hilo

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
