Job summary

Meijer in Ohio is seeking a Meat Department Associate to assist in daily cutting of fresh beef and pork, follow the production schedule to meet advertised cuts, and help ensure product quality and accurate labeling. You will write and confirm fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, and keep work areas clean and safe.

You bring familiarity with weights and measures, safety and sanitation procedures, packaging and presentation, CAO applications, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
