Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes in Indiana seeks a Meat Cutter Helper to assist in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind, following the production schedule to meet advertised fresh meat cuts.

You will write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and leadership while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
