Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a hands-on Meat Department team member to assist in daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. You will follow the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.

You will write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain positive relations with customers, team members, and leadership. This role requires familiarity with weights, safety, sanitation, packaging, CAO, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
