Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Journey-level experience in a mechanical trade.
• Must possess a valid state-issued Journeyman card in one of the specified trades.
• Applicants must provide proof of journeyman status during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical, basic electrical and control and instrument maintenance.
• Troubleshoots, maintains, repairs, cleans, inspects and constructs equipment and systems.
• Operates and reads data from devices supporting diagnostics and work activities.
• Operates machine tools and hand-powered tools as needed.
• Operates mobile and heavy equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Performs welding activities.
• Supports safety, reliability, productivity and efficiency improvements.
• Follows established procedures and safety practices.
• Maintains shop and plant area housekeeping.
• Performs other duties related to the position.
