Alliant Energy is seeking a maintenance technician to perform varied mechanical, basic electrical and control/instrument maintenance at the generation facility. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair, data logging, operation of tools and equipment, and welding as needed.
The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and continuous improvement, with standard 40-hour weeks from Monday to Friday, and voluntary overtime to support plant needs.
Performs varied mechanical, basic electrical and basic control and instrument maintenance activities and other duties necessary to maintain the generation facility to which they are assigned.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Standard Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, start time at 5:00AM.
Overtime Opportunities: Voluntary overtime is frequently available to support station needs and project demands; however, overtime is strictly optional and not mandatory.
$54.01 – $56.22 per hour.
