Public Service Co. of OK is seeking a skilled lineman to build, repair, and maintain electrical transmission and distribution lines both overhead and underground. The role involves climbing, bucket work, and installing or servicing line equipment while following strict safety protocols.

The position requires apprentice lineman training with B-200 certification, 4+ years line experience for external candidates, and a valid CDL A. Expect overtime, on-call duties, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education or GED and completed apprentice lineman training with B-200 certification
• Minimum 4 years line work experience for external candidates and a valid CDL A
• Ability to climb and work at heights; able to communicate professionally with coworkers and the public

Responsabilités

• Builds, repairs, and maintains overhead and underground electrical transmission/distribution systems
• Climbs poles or uses bucket trucks to install or repair wires and hardware
• Installs and repairs underground facilities and various line equipment
• Performs energized line work with safety gear and insulated tools; may service streetlight systems
