Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Journeyman Lineman for Kingdom City, MO to construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical power lines and related equipment.

The role requires high skill, endurance, and a commitment to safety to ensure reliable service for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The position involves outdoor work, pole climbing, bucket trucks, digger derricks, and adherence to OSHA, NESC, and NEC standards and LOTO procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a certified electrical lineman apprenticeship program.
• Journeyman Lineman certification (IBEW/DOL or applicable authority).
• Minimum 4 years of line-work experience.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Overhead construction and maintenance of power lines and equipment.
• Troubleshooting outages and emergency response.
• Perform hot line work with PPE.
• Operate bucket trucks and heavy equipment.
• Complete daily reports and material usage forms.
• Assist in training apprentices and groundmen.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Completion of a certified electrical lineman apprenticeship program

Valid Journeyman Lineman certification

Valid CDL Class A

Valid DOT medical card

Minimum 4 years of line-work experience
