Qualifications

• Completed apprentice lineman training with B-200 certification (80%+).
• External candidates require 4+ years line work experience and journeyman pre‑assessment.
• Must possess and maintain a CDL A license.

Responsibilities

• Climb poles or ride bucket to install/repair wires and hardware.
• Install/repair underground facilities such as cable, transformers, pedestals.
• Install pole hardware and transformers, switches, fuses, insulators.
• Cover energized lines with rubber goods for safe handling.
• Use hot sticks and PPE for energized line work.
• May service streetlight systems or patrol power lines.
• Perform similar or less skilled work as assigned.
