Job summary

American Electric Power (AEP) is seeking a motivated apprentice to assist with installation, maintenance, and inspection of both overhead and underground electrical facilities. You will work on de-energized systems under supervision, progress to operating digger/derrick and aerial devices as training advances, and develop skills in rigging, splicing, and test readings.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with line work experience or line school education preferred.
