Job summary

Xcel Energy in Minot, ND is seeking an Advanced Step Apprentice (3rd step or above) or Journeyman Lineman to perform overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission work at the Minot Service Center.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, line school or Journeyman certificate, a valid Class A CDL, and strong safety and teamwork. Base pay ranges from $43.59 to $62.27 per hour, with step-based percentages for apprentices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Line School or Journeyman certificate is required for Advanced step position.
• Must pass company skills assessment and hold a valid CDL.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of the Lineman Classification. Work on overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission systems.
• Maintain safety and quality customer service while performing duties.
