Matrix Service Company is seeking skilled laborers for site preparation, material handling, and operation of hand and power tools on heavy-construction projects in Washington. The role requires adherence to safety standards and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years refinery maintenance experience.
• Proficient reading of technical schematics and manuals.
• Must pass drug testing and background checks; TWIC credential and hazmat training required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work extended hours in a field environment.

Responsibilities

• Support safety program and adhere to Core Values.
• Perform riggering, signaling for heavy lifts, and lead activities with supervision.
• Identify and report hazardous materials to maintain a safe site.
• Assist with trenching, excavation, asbestos and lead abatement per regulations.
• Support concrete, asphalt prep, placement, and finishing on projects.
• Complete weatherization tasks to improve energy efficiency.
• May train and supervise apprentices as needed.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
