Job summary

EZARC is seeking a skilled Ironworker (Welder) to join our Chandler, AZ team. You will read drawings, layout, rig, weld, and assemble structural steel while upholding a strong safety culture and clear communication with crane operators and crew members.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of ironworking experience, proficiency in 3G/4G welding, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. This on-site role offers growth within a tight-knit fabrications team and exposure to diverse projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an Ironworker.
• Experience with tight deadlines and strict safety requirements.
• Ability to operate a telescopic forklift, boom lift, and scissor lift.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret steel erection and shop drawings.
• Create layouts on concrete, existing structures, and materials to be fabricated.
• Prepare hardware needed for materials to be erected.
• Determine proper rigging slings and hardware according to the weight of the load.
• Ensure that all rigging tools are safe and reliable before each use.
• Establish effective communication with the crane operator and crew members using signals.
• Fabricate metal parts according to blueprints or revisions.
• Work alongside a crew to perform the erection of structural steel members.
• Maintain a high standard of safety culture.
• Erect metal or precast components for structures such as buildings, bridges, dams, towers, storage tanks, fences, or guard rails.
