Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking an HVAC Mechanical Service Tech Jrny to support North America operations. You will work on light and heavy commercial HVACR systems, targeting optimal performance and safety, with opportunities to grow through in-house training and field projects.

Key responsibilities include maintenance, repair, and system upgrades, plus quoting and customer-facing advisory work to boost efficiency. Expect 10–20% travel and collaboration with journeymen and apprentices.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Ammonia/hydrocarbon safety training certification.
• Able to lead large repairs or retrofits.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial HVACR systems.
• Provide solutions and outcomes at commissioning and aftermarket service.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and upsell opportunities.
• Travel 10% to 20% to support branch customers.
