Barstow and Sons in Maryland is seeking an HVAC Selling Technician to diagnose, repair, and professionally upsell residential systems during service calls. This role combines field service with on-site product recommendations to help homeowners choose the right replacement options while delivering exceptional customer care.

You will work with a team supporting competitive commissions, a signing bonus up to $10,000, and a $10,000 annual license bonus.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required: 4+ years in residential service, repair, or sales.
• Active HVAC license (apprentice or journeyman) required.
• EPA certification required; NATE certification a plus.
• Sales-driven mindset with ability to upsell during service calls.
• Excellent communication to explain technical issues to homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Identify opportunities for system replacement when beneficial.
• Educate customers on options and provide honest recommendations.
• Sell new systems on the spot when appropriate.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience to build trust.
