Responsibilities

AAA Complete Building Services (CBS) is seeking multiple full-time Licensed Journeyman HVAC Mechanics (JHM) to support a facility in Fairfax. The JHM will oversee the facility's HVAC systems and equipment to ensure proper operation and perform preventative maintenance. The JHM shall also be responsible for the technical expertise related to HVAC systems. The base hours are Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

The JHM shall have the ability to:

1. Install, assemble, troubleshoot, modify, repair, and maintain HVAC systems.
2. Repair steam traps, relief, and control valves.
3. Diagnose and repair HVAC system problems as assigned.
4. Maintain HVAC equipment in sound operating condition.
5. Perform preventative maintenance tasks as directed.

Qualifications

The JHM shall possess the following minimum qualifications:

1. Minimum of five (5) years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience.
2. Active Journeyman HVAC license.
3. Universal CFC and EPA 608 certification.
4. OSHA 10 certification.
5. Vertiv training is a plus.
6. Ability to identify common causes of HVAC failures.
7. Ability to coordinate effective preventative maintenance scheduling.
8. Ability to establish routine testing procedures.
9. Ability to apply preventative maintenance strategies and techniques.
10. Ability to meet project deadlines on time.
11. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work accordingly.
12. Working knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to interpret and utilize MEP drawings.
