About the Role

AAA Complete Building Services (CBS) is seeking multiple full-time Licensed Journeyman HVAC Mechanics (JHM) to support a facility in Fairfax. The JHM will oversee the facility's HVAC systems and equipment to ensure proper operation and preventative maintenance. The role requires technical expertise in HVAC systems. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM.

The JHM should be capable of:

• Installing, assembling, troubleshooting, modifying, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems.
• Repairing steam traps, relief, and control valves.
• Diagnosing and repairing HVAC system problems.
• Maintaining HVAC equipment in sound operational condition.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks as directed.

Requirements

The candidate must possess:

• A minimum of five (5) years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience.
• An active Journeyman HVAC license.
• Universal CFC and EPA 608 certification.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Vertiv training is a plus.
• The ability to identify common causes of HVAC failures.
• Skills in coordinating effective preventative maintenance scheduling.
• Ability to establish routine testing procedures.
• Knowledge of applying preventative maintenance strategies and techniques.
• Capability to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to interpret MEP drawings.
