Position: Experienced Journeyworker HVAC Installers

We are seeking experienced Journeyworker HVAC Installers to join our team in Denver, CO. McCarthy is also looking for team members with a proven commitment to safety who can commit to a full-time schedule in the Denver, CO, and surrounding area.

• $34-$38/hour depending on experience

Working Conditions

• Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy, and hazardous areas.
• Work in high places, tight spaces, confined spaces, and adverse locations.
• Climb, balance, squat, kneel, and crouch.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Qualifications and Experience

• 8+ years relevant technical training or equivalent work experience, or completion of a formal apprenticeship with relevant certifications, knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and refrigeration principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Technical license as required by local jurisdiction and EPA certification or relevant H/CFC universal license.
• Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems and components.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment in safe operating condition.
• Support in training other technicians and coordinate work safely.
• Comply with McCarthy Safety Guidelines and participate in hazard analysis.
• Attend OSHA 10 and McCarthy New Employee Training (NET).

Additional Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Self-motivated, reliable, punctual, eager to learn.
• Reliable transportation and personal tools as per trade list.
• Good communication skills and ability to build relationships.
