Job summary

Greenwell Plumbing, Heating & Air in Southern Indiana and Kentucky is seeking licensed Journeyman HVAC Install Technicians to join our expanding team. You will install residential and light commercial systems, connect electrical, gas lines and venting, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential or commercial HVAC Install experience.
• Ability to physically lift 50 pounds or more.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install residential and light HVAC equipment according to safety requirements, company standards, and manufacturer specifications.
• Properly connect equipment (electrical hook-ups, gas lines, and venting).
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives as related to building operations and practices safe work habits.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by addressing questions, concerns or issues during installation.
• Document all calls/jobs to the company's requirements.
• Keep the company vehicle, parts inventory and equipment organized and secure.
• Assist with training and developing installers and apprentices to advance.

Role Overview

Journeyman HVAC Install Technician

Greenwell Plumbing, Heating & Air is known for providing high quality residential and commercial services to Southern Indiana and Kentucky customers for over 30 years.

Our team is dedicated to living up to our motto, “Simply Dependable” and due to our expansive growth and customer need, we are looking for Licensed HVAC Install Technicians to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be focused on customer experience with a problem solver and solution-oriented mindset, our customers depend on it!

Role:Journeyman HVAC Install Technician

Schedule: Monday- Friday, Rotating Saturdays Pay: Hourly pay for Training & PTO-Up to $35.00, hourly
Piece/task pay, uncapped earning potential

Location: Southern Indiana and Kentucky service area

Role Responsibilities:

• Install residential and light HVAC equipment according to safety requirements company standards, and manufacturer specifications.
• Properly connect equipment (electrical hook-ups, gas lines, and venting).
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives as related to building operations and practices safe work habits.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by addressing any questions, concerns, or issues the customer may have during installation.
• Properly and efficiently document all calls/jobs to the company's requirements.
• Maintain an organized company work vehicle, parts inventory, and equipment assigned to the company work vehicle.
• Assist with training and developing installers and apprentices to advance.

Required Qualifications:

• Kentucky HVAC Journeyman License
• EPA Universal Certification
• 3 or more years of residential or commercial HVAC Install experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to physically lift 50 pounds or more

USD $28.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr.
