Job summary

Greenwell Plumbing, Heating & Air, part of TurnPoint Services, seeks an HVAC Commercial Service Technician to service Southern Indiana and Kentucky.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, solution-oriented, and a natural problem-solver—our customers depend on it, with opportunities to discuss repairs and upgrades.

Role involves working Monday–Friday with rotating weekends, carrying a Kentucky HVAC Journeyman license and EPA certification, and driving a clean record to visit commercial sites.

Qualifications

• Kentucky HVAC Journeyman License required.
• EPA Certification required.
• 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete HVAC repairs and maintenance for commercial customers.
• Discuss repair options and close as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance to extend system longevity.
• Educate customers on financing options and maintenance plans.
• Build customer rapport and explain products and services.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives and dispatch.

Role Overview

HVAC Commercial Service Technician

Greenwell Plumbing, Heating & Air has provided high-quality residential and commercial services to Southern Indiana and Kentucky for over 30 years. Our team lives by our motto,“Simply Dependable,”and due to continued growth and customer demand, we are seekingHVAC Commercial Service Techniciansto join our team.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, solution-oriented, and a natural problem-solver—our customers depend on it!

Location: Southern Indiana and Kentucky service areas

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with rotating Saturdays and Sundays

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour + uncapped commissions on repairs, sales, and full unit replacements

Role Responsibilities

• Complete HVAC repairs, maintenance, and related service calls for commercial customers
• Discuss and assist with repair and replacement options for HVAC systems; sell and close as needed
• Perform preventative maintenance to extend system longevity
• Educate customers on financing options and maintenance plans
• Build customer rapport and explain available products and services
• Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives and dispatch team
• Exceed revenue goals and maintain clean, organized job sites and inventory
• Participate in training sessions, meetings, and company retreats
• Mentor apprentices and support team development
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of invoices, timecards, and service documentation

Required Qualifications

• Kentucky HVAC Journeyman License
• EPA Certification
• 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of consultative HVAC sales experience
• Working knowledge of industry software (e.g., ServiceTitan or similar)
