Job summary

Fayette Heating & Air, part of TurnPoint Services, seeks a Journeyman HVAC Install Technician in Lexington, KY. You will install HVAC systems in homes, test performance, and ensure customer satisfaction. Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays, with strong pay and benefits.

Required: Kentucky Journeyman HVAC license, EPA certification, 2+ years installation experience, and a clean driver's license. The role includes mentoring apprentices and using modern tools in a safety-first environment.

• Valid Kentucky Journeyman HVAC License.
• 2+ years HVAC Install Experience.
• EPA Certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install various HVAC equipment in customers' homes following manufacturer specifications and test that systems operate correctly.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to standard processes, stocking vehicles with parts and ordering supplies as needed.
• Keep company vehicle clean and perform other duties as directed by management.
• Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
• Accurately complete invoices and timecards.

Role Overview

Journeyman HVAC Install Technician

Since opening our doors in 1971, homeowners in the Central Kentucky area have trusted Fayette Heating and Air with all their heating, air conditioning, and electrical needs.

To uphold our commitment to delivering excellence, we are seeking top-notch Journeyman HVAC Install Technicians to join our growing team.

Pay

$25.00-$30.00

Total Compensation for task/piece pay

$70,000-$100,000 average

Schedule

Monday- Friday, Occasional Rotating Saturdays

Responsibilities:

• Install various HVAC equipment in customers' homes following manufacturer specifications, including furnaces, air handlers, indoor coils, UV lights, air cleaners, dehumidifiers, outdoor coils, outdoor units, etc.
• Ensure that new systems work efficiently by inspecting and testing them.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to standard processes and procedures of the company, including properly stocking company vehicles with necessary parts, returning unused and defective parts, and ordering and restocking parts in vehicles as required.
• Keep the assigned company vehicle clean and performing any other duties directed by management
• Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
• Be accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, and option sheets.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Kentucky Journeyman HVAC License
• 2 or more years of HVAC Install Experience
• EPA Certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
